WPS February Newsletter 2025
WHAT, GOING INTO MARCH ALREADY!
So much rain was well needed, but our work is all outside so it was a wee bit frustrating after so many rainy days. As soon as it stopped we mowed lawns and grass yet again. It was very slow for us last month with very, very little help for food and bedding and cage materials and there was also no community service.
THE FOUNDERS BIRTHDAY.
The Founder of WPS (Wayne Macleod) had a lovely birthday and was blessed with a get-together of Care Centre owners and friends and also visiting his dad in Cape Town, a retired book writer, and his mom, a retired but active honorary ranger in Marloth Park, Mpumalanga.
THANK YOU TO THE FOUNDERS STAFF
We would like to say a special thank you to the staff who have worked so hard to run the Head Office Sanctuary so well with limited electricity and taking such good care of the monkeys. Thank you too, to the other Care Centre who sponsored the Founder (Wayne Macleod) to visit his mom. This particular Care Centre is the longest we have had in Gauteng for over 25 years!
THE USUAL THINGS WE ALWAYS NEED
Polony, chicken, soya mince, sausages, eggs, macaroni, rice, yogurt, spaghetti, noodles, marie biscuits, rice krispies, bullybeef, cornflakes, baby porridge, Pola fleece blankets, square tubing and welded mesh.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
To those of you who regularly help us we are really grateful and appreciate your support and say A BIG THANK YOU for your blessings!
