So let us work more as that is what we do. We love to work for the animals. This is what makes Wayne Macleod, the founder, happy, working together with his teams.
CAGES
They are gradually building more care centres and helping monkeys and also dogs and other animals as best as they can. South Africa is not in a good position as we all know. We need to be strong and it’s only through people who are genuine animal lovers and truly care that animals can be helped.
LET’S TOUCH BASE ON THE FOUNDER
Let’s talk about the founder 39 years ago and who still has a passion for monkeys. At a very young age it was fascination particularly for monkeys. Wayne would give everything for them; he even watched his neighbour weld and started welding cages himself but got upset with the welding cap that kept falling off his head so took it off and got arc eyes.
In his life Wayne has had many challenges and experiences. Just a few to share: he went through anorexia, bulimia,ocd, suicide, swimming out of a car through a window in the river, working at JCE teachers’ college, hospitals, vets and many more jobs including aerial maps. And he also went through depression and all sorts of unpleasant experiences, like in the Amazon in sinking sand. You name it , Wayne went through it. Covid, Delta and so the list goes on. Not to bore you, but there is so much more. We are not going to spoil the book about his life that he is busy writing now.
Wayne loves his poems, songs, and writing, but has little time to do it. Many of you may know that. ON another note….

Wow, thank you for helping the monkeys. You really helped in every way with the work on the cages,well done. Two days, you students did fantastically well.
THOSE THAT HELPED.
Few have helped and we continue to struggle with porridge, purity, or pap or even ace and lactogen and of course any proteins is a constant battle since COVID, but those that can help we really appreciate it.
